Congratulations to the 891 students who participated in the 2018 Simon Marais Mathematics Competition! We are excited to report the results* and very pleased that students from so many Universities performed well. We will be sending additional information to all Local Coordinators shortly, so that students that did not place or win a cash prize can receive feedback on their performance. Students that may be eligible for internships will also be contacted. Meanwhile, our thanks to all Local Coordinators for their key contribution to the success of an event that crosses so many time zones!
Please keep in mind that each of the eight problems was scored on a scale 0-7.
